Susan Perry Takes on Dragons Den to make lots of Entrepreneurs who have no capital

Susan Perry commercial Solicitor and the owner of the successful online Trading Network business, wants to give everyone a chance to change their life.

Trading Network is a local community website which allows the local community to access information about their area while at the same time being able to read great articles, sell houses as well as gaining advice. Susan Perry set up the business because she wanted to work from home and spend more time with her family, allowing her children to grow up while having their mother around them.

More and more people want to leave the rat race and become self-employed but for the majority, this is only a pipe dream. Years ago, if you wanted to become self-employed, you had to have four things, money, a great idea, hard work and a lot of good luck. But now with the introduction of the popular franchises, you now only need hard work, money and some luck. Susan Perry joined forces with a magazine publishing group to make her site special, she wanted her websites to become magazine local community websites where people could read great articles, celebrity interviews as well as finding out what was happening in their area. And through this joint venture, both parties decided they wanted to change the way Franchises work by allowing people to run their own business without having to find a huge franchise fee.

Susan Perry said “It is most people’s dream to be self employed, providing a better life for their family but to a lot of people buying a franchise is out of their reach because of the huge outlay and investment that is required. There are lots of people out there who have the skill, dedication and all the right qualities to make a franchise a success but they do not have the funding. That is why we have decided to let people who are interested in running their own franchise a chance to try it out our franchise for a year as an agent. This way they can see if the franchise is right for them as well as gaining revenue from the business which they can put into a high savings account in case they would like to buy the franchise at the end of the year. This would mean that we are investing in them and helping them to plan their own future. If they do not want to buy the franchise after one year, they can stay as an agent for as long as they want. When someone becomes an agent, they receive their own local community website and also a glossy magazine to sell advertising space in and to write in.

“We aim to have 100 local websites and magazine up and running by April of next year, allow the local community to be able to access all the information that they require from doctor’s surgery times to late night chemist” Said Susan

Unlike Dragons Den, Trading Network do not find holes in people’s ideas and dismiss capable people of running their own business, Trading Network aims to make people become their own boss, allow people to plan their own future and for those people who lack confidence, to help them gain confidence and turn them into a business expert. Trading network plans to produce more successful business people than Dragons Den.

“All of our agents will be in weekly contact and can even be in daily contact with the editor of the magazine, to help them write great editorial and to be on hand for any advice that they need” says Susan Perry. They will also be in contact with a popular Life coach who will help them to gain confidence and to succeed. What I am hoping for is for other companies to follow my example and make Britain a country full of Entrepreneurs where we can increase jobs and bridge the gap between rich and poor. We should all be on a level playing field, there should not be Rich people and Poor people, there should just be people, living and working together to make Britain Great and to give their families a great future.
