An experienced organisation and management development specialist. My background includes teaching to post graduate level, research and corporate business life. I have held a number of posts in organisation development and management development in both the public and private sector.
I have managed a number of start-up training organisations in both the private and public sector. I have trained, consulted and researched in the field of organisation and management development for 20 years. This includes significant time with large organisations moving from a traditional mechanistic culture to a more customer focused, team working culture.
Throughout My professional career I have established close partnerships with my clients by demonstrating my ability to develop interventions that have a measurable effect not only with programme participants but on the organisations bottom line.
I have worked with a number of organisations across a range of industries and the public/private sectors including Harrods, Citibank, London buses, London Underground, The NHS, Local Government Organisations, Haven Warner, Allied Domecq, Yorkshire Electricity, Forestry Authority, DTI, Carlsberg Tetley, Stagecoach, Airlinks, National Express Group, Argos, American Express, Rank Organisation, Royal Mail, Hewlett Packard, BICC, British Gas, Transco, Reed Publishing, Compass Services, Metronetrail, Midland Mainline, Silverlink Trains, TRW aerospace and HM Treasury.
The nature of my work is varied but focuses on organisation change, leadership development, team development and business process improvement. My approach is to work with clients to improve business performance at both a strategic level and an operational level. More recently I have worked with a number of organisations to develop a partnering approach with their supply chain.
At a strategic level I have worked with directors and senior managers to develop and translate mission, vision and values into practical outcomes. At an operational level I have developed organisation members to deliver bottom line business improvements in line with the organisations mission, vision and values.
My credentials include MSc in organisation development a Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning, a board member and key associate of the Adair Leadership Foundation. I am a member of the International Association of Facilitators and licensed to use a number of diagnostic tools such as SDI, Belbin, Situational Leadership and LIFO.
